I leave Wednesday for Oregon to attend the Black sheep Gathering. I will learn to spin! I will gawk at Sheep! I will purchase a spinning wheel! I will get drunk on Oregon Pinot Noir!
I'm very excited.
Any advice? What to bring, what to buy, what to wear, where to go in Portland or Eugene?

oh, i'm so excited for you! do you know what spinning wheel you'll get? do you have a list of which ones you're gonna test drive? can't wait to see pictures of the event and your wheel!
How exciting! I still refuse to slip down the slippery slope of spinning, so enjoy it for me!
